The New York Rangers acquired a 2026 fifth-round pick and forward Massimo Rizzo from the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Adam Edstrom. Rizzo, 25, appeared in 14 AHL games last season with two goals and three assists, and also played 29 ECHL games with six goals and 16 assists. The Burnaby, British Columbia native was originally drafted by Carolina in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
