idk man, schenn and blais arent even a combo anymore they were always on different teams in the playoffs tbh.

yeah i know what you mean, but honestly blais was a beast last year and schenn is still decent, they can make it work tbh @section301stl

idk man thats the thing tho, blais got those 12 goals and some of em were even powerplay ones...but u r right he struggled to score at evens and get schenn set up ngl

While I agree with you that Blais' inability to score at even strength and create chances for Schenn was a problem, let's not forget that his 12 goals did come from 15:47 of PP time - a rate of .757/g (2nd on the team) if extrapolated over full season.

yeah i remember that, but 12 goals off like 40ish minutes on pp still doesnt change that he sucks at even strength and cant get schenn the puck man

yeah blais got a nice shot but hes all over the ice man, cant even get schenn loose w/o puck possession ngl @section301stl, still dont think that gives us much going forward

man tom i think youre being harsh on blais, he did have some great seasons with us and those powerplay goals dont just happen by accident ngl even last year when he slowed down a bit he still had like 6 or 7 ppers

yeah tom i feel u about blais, but honestly he's been pretty consistent on the pp for us so im not sure why wed let him walk without getting someone similar back...im still trying to figure out what happened with that pick tho

tbh @BluesTilIDie i think youre right that blais has been consistent on the pp but the fact is he's done nothing for us in even strength play honestly and maybe thats why they let him walk ngl @tom_blues man we need someone who can get schenn going
