idk what's worse either, lombardi's a big ol' defenseman but i'm still worried about our top pairing tbh

@Devils9, Huska's got nothing to do with Lombardi coming to the Devils. This was a cap move, plain and simple. They're trying to make their roster more tolerable.

@GrumpyInGrosse I'd agree that the trade looks like a cap move, but it's not quite that straightforward. Lombardi's underlying numbers were decent last year, and he's likely a depth piece who will be called upon to play bigger minutes if needed.

yeah lombardi's underlying numbers were decent last year, but i still dont think he fills that gaping hole on the 4th line tbh, we need some speed man

tbh i think speed is overrated on the 4th line, you need guys who can get your teeth dirty and battle for every inch @fenwickfan's right tho, lombardi's a depth piece, let's see him prove it

idk man, i think speed still matters even if it's only on the 4th line, you dont wanna be stuck watching guys skate around in circles all game tbh
