Red Wings Make Goaltending Decision Ahead of Flames Matchup
The Detroit Red Wings confirmed John Gibson as the starter for their matchup against the Calgary Flames, after he sat out the third period of their game against the Vancouver Canucks due to an upper-body injury from an eye irritant. Head coach Todd McLellan indicated Gibson is ready to play and may make lineup changes after warmups. The projected lines and pairings were provided, with Alex DeBrincat leading the first line and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard, Dylan Larkin, and Lucas Raymond expected to join him.
