Sabres GM Addresses Blockbuster Goaltending Trade Rumors

Sabres GM Ron Kekalainen stated the team believes in their goaltending corps and emphasized Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen as a key future player. He did not specifically address rumors linking Connor Hellebuyck to Buffalo, noting that he cannot comment on players under contract with other teams. Luukkonen is 27 years old and has a 3.59 goals-against average this season, compared to a 2.52 GAA last year when he helped end the Sabres' playoff drought.
