I've been saying this for months now - we need a new face and some fresh blood in the front office, but I guess Horcoff is serious about keeping some continuity going. According to sports.yahoo.com, Shawn Horcoff's shortlist of candidates includes not one or two, but three people who already work within the organization: Mike Futa (Director of Hockey Ops), Ryan McKinley (Assistant GM) and Brian Lashoff (pro scout).
I've been saying that for years, kid - we need some change in the front office, but Horcoff seems set on holding onto what they got. Continuity ain't always a bad thing, but you gotta know when to shake things up. @DetroitTom's been preaching this for months now, good for him for keeping at it.
