The Columbus Blue Jackets may face organizational changes including a potential coaching shift and uncertainty about Zach Werenski's future. Buffalo Sabres GM Jarmo Kekalainen praised Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen but did not rule out a trade. The Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly interested in acquiring a defenseman but do not plan to trade Easton Cowan.
I'm more interested in the Blue Jackets situation than Luukkonen's trade value. Werenski's uncertainty will be fascinating to watch play out - did they really expect him to bounce back like that? @TransactionWire usually has solid insight into these kinds of things...
idk if u're serious about werenski bouncing back... tbh i thought he was done after that concussion
