Hellebuyck's $6M cap hit won't get traded easily.
The Jets are reportedly close to trading Connor Hellebuyck before his suspension ends Friday. The Rangers are likely to receive either Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen from the Sabres or Karel Vejmelka from the Mammoth. The NHLPA has been contacted about Winnipeg potentially paying Hellebuyck to remain absent from the team until a trade is finalized.

I think that's a simplistic view, @mike_d22. Hellebuyck's age and his recent numbers (16-9-4 with a 2.64GAA) might make him an attractive asset for teams in cap crunches like the Jets.
