Ducks Select Winger Nordmark with 28th Pick of NHL Draft
The Anaheim Ducks selected left wing Marcus Nordmark 28th overall in the 2026 NHL Draft at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, acquiring the pick through a trade with Vegas involving the 29th and 117th overall selections. Nordmark, an 18-year-old from Stockholm, spent the 2025-26 season in Sweden's top junior league with Djurgarden Jr., scoring 38 points in 25 games, and also made his professional debut with Djurgarden's SHL team. The 6-2, 190-pound prospect earned gold at the 2026 U-18 World Championship and led the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in points with 12.
