The Boston Bruins acquired 24-year-old forward JJ Peterka from the Utah Mammoth on Friday in exchange for the No. 23 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and a conditional first-round pick in the 2028 NHL Draft. Peterka recorded 47 points in 82 games this season and has four years remaining on his five-year, $38.5 million contract. The Mammoth acquired Peterka from Buffalo on June 26, 2025, and made the playoffs in their second season before being eliminated by Vegas in six games in the first round.
