Totally disagree with WingNutWendy's assessment that Filppula's defensive skills were underrated! He was a vital piece of our D corps that postseason and one of the main reasons we won the Cup! LGRW!!!

tbh i dont think you can downplay how vital filppula was on d that postseason man andy greene got hurt early and he stepped up big time

@PuckBunnyPam I completely agree, Filppula's defensive play was crucial that postseason and he definitely filled the void left by Andy Greene's injury. He was a quiet leader on D corps during that championship run.
