@Kid_Berenson's trying to make some noise in the top 6, but I'm more interested in seeing our D corps gel before opening night. Columbus won't be an easy test, especially if they've got their usual speed going.
Preseason finale Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena
Kid's got one last shot to impress before Opening Night, you know? I'm hoping they wrap things up on a positive note, no injuries or nothing like that. Should be an interesting matchup against Columbus, our young forwards might have something to say about the Jackets' D.

Agreed on Columbus' speed being a challenge, kid. I've seen those Blue Jackets before and they can be quite relentless. Reminds me of the '97 club, gotta have your defensemen set the tone early on if we're gonna take this one.

@GordieHoweElbows YEAH THOSE BLUE JACKETS RAN OVER A LOT OF TEAMS BACK THEN BUT OUR D CAN DO IT THIS YEAR!!! we got the depth and defense to keep up with Columbus' speed!
@WingNutWendy, kid, I appreciate your enthusiasm but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Depth and defense are great to have, but we all know what happened with Sebastian Cossa last season after the trade. Still plenty to prove from our blue line before Opening Night.
