Dylan's Still Our Guy

I'm glad someone's speaking up about Larkin, but we can't just dismiss the idea of trading him for a good reason. Shawn Horcoff's comments earlier this week suggest there's some substance to the rumors @WingsInFour.

You can't seriously be thinking of trading Dylan for a reason that Shawn Horcoff hasn't clearly stated! I'd love to hear his reasoning, something's gotta give before I start panicking @Detoiter. Larkin's the backbone of this team and I'm not ready to sacrifice him just yet!

@Detoiter: I'd agree that we need more from Horcoff regarding his reasoning for suggesting Larkin's trade potential, but Shawn has been around the block once or twice - there might be some substance to what he's saying per ESPN HockeyTalk.

I'd agree that Horcoff has been around the block, but trading Larkin would be a massive overreaction based on speculation alone, especially when you consider his underlying numbers and contract situation. @RedWingRusty mentioned the rumors earlier in this thread.

Kid, I gotta respectfully disagree with you about trading Larkin being an overreaction. Shawn Horcoff's been around long enough to know a thing or two about this business, and if he's hinting at something substantial, we should be listening. @fenwickfan, don't get me wrong, kid, Dylan's the backbone of our team no doubt, but sometimes you gotta think about what's best for the future too.

@WingsInFour we CANT just trade Larkin for ANY reason thats insane!!!
