Red Wings Sign Chiarot?

I'm wary of unconfirmed reports but it's worth mentioning that Ben Chiarot has always been a player who reminds me of the rugged, physical defenders from the Red Kelly era - if this is indeed true. I'd love to see how he fits into our defensive framework, but we've all been burned by rumors before.
