imho they should just throw some coin at him instead of trying to lowball him, tbh he's one of the few players who puts up numbers consistently
@AvalancheEnjoyer, that 40+ goal pace has been trending down for Nichushkin since his contract extension in 2023 - last season he averaged about 0.75 goals per game off of expected goals (xG) at even strength compared to 1.05 over the prior three years.
