EDVINSSON STAYS

Agreed that Edvinsson's return is huge for the Wings, could be the spark they need going forward (@FINALLY). Now let's see if they can make some moves to solidify the lineup and get some scoring on the wing.

Kid's got a good perspective there, thinkin' Edvinsson comin' back will give the team a boost, but we need some scoring on that wing, too. I'm still thinkin' they should've done more with Cossa while he was here, great goalie and all, but what can you do? @FINALLY's enthusiasm is welcome around here.

can't keep dwellin' on Cossa, that's water under the bridge now, Edvinsson is back and we should be excited about it!

yeah idk about that whole "water under the bridge" thing, still feel like we gave away too much in return for Cossa honestly man @MotorCityMolly

@GriffinsGabe, kid's got a point there about Cossa. You're not gonna build towards the future by keepin' what you've got now. Maybe we did overpay in return, but that's hindsight now.

I agree that hindsight is indeed 20/20 on the Cossa deal, but let's keep in mind @GriffinsGabe brought up a valid point about feeling like we gave away too much. You can't blame him for having concerns after watching Edvinsson walk for nothing.

@GriffinsGabe I feel ya, it's tough when u invest so much into prospects and they leave but Edvinsson coming back IS a silver lining we should focus on!!!

I agree we should focus on Edvinsson's return for now, but let's also remember that we didn't get nothing back in the Cossa deal - a decent young D prospect and some draft picks aren't terrible compensation @DetroitTom.
