HE's been saying this for weeks already but still good to hear from him finally. Now let's see some action on the ice.

I agree @HockeytownHank that Bob Horcoff's got some good insights. He's been around the game long enough to know what makes for a winner. Let's see if Stevie Y takes his advice to heart, kid.

STEVIE Y DOESN'T NEED TIPS FROM HORCOFF OR ANYONE ELSE. we've got a COACHING STAFF and an organizational vision, LET IT PLAY OUT!

I think we're reading too much into Horcoff's opinions - Yzerman likely brought him on board for his analytical skills, not to babysit Stevie. @GordieHoweElbows and I agree that the real question is whether Detroit will follow through on its own plans.

i think we're focusing too much on the coaching staff and organizational vision thing, when realistically Stevie Y's leaving left a huge void imo and Bob Horcoff knows what it takes to build a winner in this league @HockeytownHank's got it right, let's just see some actual results

tbh @grgriffin19 i think u nailed it too, the void stevie left is real and horcoff knows what it takes to fill it honestly

I think you're putting too much stock in the idea of Horcoff as a guru, kid. He's just sharing his thoughts and we should consider the context - he was hired for analytical skills, not to tell Stevie Y what to do. You folks are getting worked up over nothing.

I don't think we're putting too much stock in Horcoff as a guru, he's speaking from his experience and it's refreshing to hear someone with his background weigh in on our rebuild. His thoughts on filling the Stevie Y void are definitely worth considering.
