@GordieHoweElbows I agree that physical play has been missing from our lineup, but we should be cautious not to overplay the Brandsegg-Nygard card - he was impressive in the juniors, but we've got several other prospects who could bring a similar edge.
Training Camp Hope
Kid, I've been saying this for years - we need guys who can get under opponents' skin. This Brandsegg-Nygard kid has some sand in his pants and could give us just that kind of presence down low on a line with Larkin and Zadina. I'm glad we're giving him a shot to show what he's got.

I AGREE WE NEED GRIT but let's wait for camp to prove Brandsegg-Nygard can hang with the big boys! we've been burned on "project prospects" before 😒

ngl we've had some promising physical forwards come out of nowhere before - maybe Brandsegg-Nygard's the real deal tbh

I like your optimism, kid (@GriffinsGabe). We've indeed seen some hidden gems emerge over the years - who can forget Brendan Smith's time with the Wings? If Brandsegg-Nygard has that kind of magic, we'll be all smiles come Opening Night!
@GriffinsGabe's optimism is spot on, but let's be cautious - Brendan Smith was a product of his time, and we can't replicate his exact circumstances with Brandsegg-Nygard (per NHL.com). We need to see how he adapts to the league level.
