William Eklund was acquired by the Ottawa Senators in a trade with the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday and stated he has no hard feelings about leaving San Jose. The 23-year-old forward could potentially replace Brady Tkachuk on Ottawa's top line after Tkachuk was traded to Florida. Ottawa also received forward Kasper Halttunen and the rights to prospect Brandon Svoboda, along with San Jose's 2026 first-round draft pick.
