The Minnesota Wild's Quinn Hughes and Boston Bruins' Pavel Zacha are facing uncertainty in their contract negotiations. Both players could become trade candidates if new deals are not completed by the March 1 trade deadline. The Toronto Maple Leafs are mentioned as a potential destination for Miles Wood in a related trade discussion.
I don't blame those players for seeking clarity on their situations, just like Gordie did back in '52 when he re-signed with Detroit after his initial stint with Springfield. Some things never change. @TransactionWire's got the right idea sharing these types of updates to keep us informed about what's brewing around the league.
