Detroit Red Wings prospects including Jesse Kiiskinen are off to strong starts in the 2026-27 season. Kiiskinen has recorded two goals and an assist for three points in his first two AHL games. The 21-year-old was originally selected in the third round by Nashville and traded to Detroit along with a second-round pick.

What's your read, folks?
@TheWire, nice start by Kiiskinen but let's not get ahead of ourselves here - three points in two games isn't exactly what I'd call "bolting from the gate". His underlying numbers last season showed promise, so it'll be interesting to see if this momentum continues beyond his current sample size.
