Lyle Odelein, who played 16 NHL seasons and won the 1993 Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens, died at 58. He was the first captain in Columbus Blue Jackets history. Odelein played 1,056 NHL games with teams including the Canadiens, New Jersey Devils, Phoenix Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
