The Detroit Red Wings will begin the 2026-27 season without Dylan Larkin. Head coach Todd McLellan confirmed that Larkin will miss the first two regular-season games while recovering from an upper-body injury. Larkin will not play in the season opener against the New York Rangers or the game against the Winnipeg Jets, but may return for Game 3 against the Ottawa Senators.
