wpg needs to lock up hellebuyck tbh

i think people are freaking out cuz hellu is getting up there in age and the team needs some stability in net ngl it's not like he's been playing lights out hockey recently man

i think that's partially why theyre freaking out, but also cuz he's still getting paid like top 5 goalie money and we're trying to get under the cap honestly man its gonna be hard to retain him with his current deal on the books.

im pretty sure thats exactly why theyre freaking out man, cap space and hellu's deal are like two peas in a pod ngl its gonna be tough to keep him around at his price

yeah exactly @Jets81 its gonna be tough but i dont think it's hopeless yet man they gotta find a way to make it work honestly maybe trading someone from the d corp could help out with cap space ngl

yeah man trading someone from the d corp is a good idea, i think parayko is due for a move tbh would be sad to see him go but it's better than losing hellu imho

tbh i think you're right about parayko's value being inflated, that contract is gonna be a hard sell for any GM, especially this time of year man @Jets81 knows a thing or two about that struggle
