Dylan Larkin will miss the Red Wings' season opener against the Rangers and Sunday's home game against the Jets due to an upper-body injury. Head coach Todd McLellan indicated Larkin is working toward a return for Game 3 against the Senators. Larkin sat out the entire preseason while recovering from the injury sustained in summer workouts.
