Red Wings trade prospect Amadeus Lombardi for 4th-round pick in 2026
The Detroit Red Wings traded prospect Amadeus Lombardi to the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, June 25, in exchange for a fourth-round pick at No. 108 overall in this weekend's draft. Lombardi, who was originally drafted by Detroit at No. 113 in 2022, spent three-plus seasons with the Grand Rapids Griffins, recording 40 goals and 69 assists in 163 games, but never appeared in an NHL game for the Wings. The trade gives Detroit seven total 2026 draft picks, though the team remains without a first-round selection after trading their No. 15 pick to the St. Louis Blues in March for Justin Faulk.
