The Toronto Maple Leafs are among several teams including Edmonton, Chicago, New Jersey, Seattle, and Buffalo reportedly exploring the market for a scoring winger and have been connected to Detroit Red Wings winger Alex DeBrincat. DeBrincat posted 41 goals, 44 assists, and 85 points in the 2025-26 season and had 15 power-play goals. The Maple Leafs are looking to improve their forward group after a difficult 2025-26 season.
