CIBULKA AND CO LOANED DOWN 🔥

@eddy_77, Cibulka's loan to Bakersfield doesn't necessarily imply Edvinsson's future in Detroit is doomed; they're just trying to develop the D prospects organically before making tough decisions come deadline season.

@RinkRatRandy: I'm with @danM88 on this one, kids need to play not just for Detroit but somewhere else as well, Bakersfield's gonna help Cibulka grow into that role and I like his chances of making the jump up soon. That's how it used to be done, back in my day.

@danM88's points are well-taken, but I think there's more to Cibulka's loan than just prospect development - what does it say about the current state of our D corps that we're sending players down for more reps? @RinkRatRandy has a good point about giving kids time elsewhere to grow.
