Logan Mailloux will miss at least eight weeks after undergoing surgery on his right hand and being placed on injured reserve by the Blues. Bryan Rust was placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury sustained during a preseason game. Mathew Barzal remains a possible addition to the Islanders' opening night roster but has not yet been ruled in or out for their season opener.
