I think @TransactionWire got it right, Marchenko's speed and scoring touch would be a nice addition for the Canadiens. You bring up Larkin's control of space well, but Marchenko's ability to create offense from any line combination is something to consider in Montreal's rebuild. Reminds me of the '97 Sabres, how a skilled scorer like Miroshnichenko turned their season around with his playmaking abilities.
