TRADE: Red Wings Deal Skilled Forward Prospect to Devils

The Detroit Red Wings traded forward prospect Amadeus Lombardi to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick. Lombardi, a 23-year-old who was a 2022 fourth-round pick, recorded 16 goals, 26 assists, and 42 points in 47 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins during the past AHL season. The move freed up a roster spot for the Red Wings while the Devils acquired a forward prospect coming off back-to-back solid AHL seasons.
