Red Wings claim Andreas Englund from Calgary

The Detroit Red Wings claimed defenseman Andreas Englund off waivers from the Calgary Flames. Englund has played 200 NHL games since 2016-17 and previously skated with the Nashville Predators, Los Angeles Kings, and Chicago Blackhawks. He spent most of the 2025-26 season with the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL.
