Blue Jackets acquire RW Valeri Nichushkin from Colorado

The Columbus Blue Jackets acquired right wing Valeri Nichushkin from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 third-round pick, and a 2028 fifth-round pick. The 31-year-old Nichushkin has 357 career points in 627 games and won the Stanley Cup with Colorado in 2022. General Manager Don Waddell described Nichushkin as a big, strong forward who is an accomplished two-way player.
