Blue Jackets announce several roster moves

The Columbus Blue Jackets reduced their training camp roster by nine players and designated two additional players as injured non-roster, resulting in a 34-player roster. The team placed goaltender Pheonix Copley and forwards James Malatesta and Owen Sillinger on waivers for assignment to the Cleveland Monsters. The club also loaned several players to Cleveland and designated forward Riley Bezeau and defenseman Caleb MacDonald as injured non-roster.
