What happened to Sutter?

idk man i thought they got something for him ngl its just another thing that makes me question our FO tbh

@OldTimeHockeyOtto: I'm inclined to agree with @luke_predators, we did get something in return for Sutter. Still think they got the better of us though. Reminds me of how we traded Terry Sawchuk's replacement, Gump Worsley, back in '67 and it didn't exactly work out in our favor either.

man sawchuk was a whole different era i dont think comparing that trade is fair ngl our problem now is how we let sutter walk in the first place

let's focus on cap retention instead

yup agree with @mike_d22, focus on cap retention and try to rebuild around the core we got, can't keep trading away talent ngl our future in uncertain right now

i think thats gonna be a hard sell tbh sutter wouldve been an upgrade over our d corps last year man @luke_predators knows what i'm talking about

@section114nsh dont try to spin it ngl sutter was an upgrade last year and we just let him walk for nothin man

honestly i think we got lucky that sutter left we were paying him way too much and it wasnt worth keepin him imo
